The Fully Booked Musician

~ Mastermind ~

For the musician who knows they’re meant for more.

Inside, you’ll receive hands on, expert guidance from a live booking agent with over 20 years of industry experience, alongside the strength and accountability of a dedicated community of musicians committed to raising their standards.

Turn inconsistent gigs into predictable premium bookings — without chasing agents or websites.

According to the Help Musicians Census (2023), more than 50% of UK musicians earn £14.5K or less per year, and only around 3% reach the £70K+ bracket.

If that’s you, don’t let that statistic alarm or shame you. For many gigging musicians , much like in sport, income can plateau for years before it shifts. It’s easy to believe the industry is “ruined,” that events don’t pay anymore, or that you’ve somehow missed your moment.

Having spent over 20 years working in live events and live music, I know that gap can be closed deliberately. Not through luck, not through a swanky agent or endless TV syncs, but by stepping off the feast-or-famine hamster wheel of gig-to-gig survival, undercharging, and chasing enquiries that go nowhere.

We close that gap by building a premium, high-end act and positioning it creativley, and strategically within the private and corporate event market, so you stop competing on price and start leading with value, even without a website or an agent.

The Fully Booked Musician Mastermind (FBMM) gives you in-depth strategic guidance, structured accountability, industry insight, and psychological coaching, so you can build consistent bookings, increase your fees, and finally see your bank balance reflect the talent and effort you put into your craft.

"I built the Mastermind to give musicians the expert guidance I wish I'd had — and to create exponential impact far beyond what one agency could ever do alone."

Hi, I'm Kerri...

Kerri Layton is a music industry consultant, booking strategist, and founder who has worked with major brands including BBC, ITV, The National Trust, Bollinger Champagne, Marriott Hotel Group, and NHS.

She has generated multi-six figures in bookings for clients and helped musicians go from inconsistent gigs to fully booked calendars.

Her work blends:
• live music industry expertise
• professional sales strategy
• identity and mindset coaching
• and structured implementation systems

Kerri is a certified coach and combines strategic consulting with behavioural change principles to help artists not only book more — but lead their careers confidently.

I didn’t start in boardrooms or agencies. I started as an actress and a singer.

For years, I auditioned. Learned lines. Took contracts. Featured on albums. Joined other people’s tours. Temped in bands. Said yes to opportunities that were good for the soul and great for the profile — but rarely good for my bank balance or self-esteem.

I loved performing, but I was still at the mercy of someone else’s decision, and I knew I wanted something different.

I wanted to build an act I loved and learn how to sell it myself — into rooms that paid well, felt aligned, and allowed me to create a rinse-and-repeat income stream I owned.

It took me years to figure out.

How to position myself at a premium level.
How to sell into the private and corporate market.
How to run my creative work like a CEO instead of a hopeful applicant.

Once I cracked that code, everything changed.

I began selling my own act into incredible events around the world.
I built and worked for multiple event and music agencies.
I placed over 500 bands into the corporate market.

But the turning point wasn’t just financial.

It was autonomy.

Today, I still work as a DJ and singer, but only at events that light me up, pay well, and complement my consulting work. I no longer chase auditions or wait for someone to pick me. I choose.

And I noticed something else.

As an agent, I received countless applications from talented artists I couldn’t sell — not because they weren’t good enough, but because their positioning was scattered. Their bios were unclear. Their photos inconsistent. Their messaging unfocused.

I could step in, rebuild everything, and often increase their fee tenfold.

But that meant I could only help a limited number of artists each year.

So I built something bigger.

The Fully Booked Musician Mastermind teaches musicians how to become their own best agent.

To position themselves clearly, to sell confidently, to set standards.
To build premium acts that clients respect, and pay properly for.

Most musicians wake up at 60 and realise they’re still waiting for someone else’s call.

This is about changing that trajectory.

This is about autonomy, empowerment, and building a creative career that sustains you financially as well as artistically.

That’s why I founded the Mastermind.

To give musicians like me the expert guidance I wish I’d had — and to create exponential impact far beyond what one agency could ever do alone.

Working and being supported by Kerri over the last year, has been a revelation. Kerri helped me make an EPK which looks amazing and very professional. I am now confident to charge higher fees and I am so proud to send it out. The feed-back from my fellow singers has been amazing. Going forward: I have the tools to respond to enquiries with speed and professionalism. This gives prospective clients an assurance that I am a class act, worthy of my high fees.

I’m forever grateful for your support and guidance! I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of the mastermind’s vault too, there is still so much more content to do - I’ve done it with a baby on my hip, we’ve closed the calendar for this year and already have 20 bookings secured for 2025! I think you’ve brought out the real me, the stubborness in me! I KNOW I can achieve what I have set out to do, I feel totally empowered! I feel like I am being a sponge, soaking in the information and using it. You are heaven sent, thank you so much!

Working with Kerri has been an absolute game changer for me. Kerri’s support and expertise have been invaluable. She helped me create my first professional promo document and I now feel confident putting together my own for all my different acts. Having everything about my act in one concise, beautifully organised document that’s easy to update has taken away so much of the stress. What used to feel daunting now feels streamlined and actually enjoyable. One of my biggest breakthroughs has been gigging solo with backing tracks. I had practised with them for years but never imagined I would actually perform on my own. Now I really enjoy it and it’s opened up a whole new world of opportunities for me. My confidence and professionalism have grown massively. I used to feel overwhelmed by the business side of getting gigs and worried about approaching clients. Through Kerri’s course I’ve learned that selling is really about sharing my skills and helping people create the event they want. That mindset shift has changed everything. Before joining I felt unsure, anxious and a bit lost with how to present myself. Now I feel confident, capable and proud of what I offer. I no longer take things personally and I feel like a professional musician who understands her value. Working with Kerri has given me clarity, confidence and the tools to grow in a way that feels aligned with who I am. I’m so grateful for the transformation this has sparked in my career.

Is This Right For You?

🎫 This is for you if...

You’re a live act or bandleader (solo, duo, band or DJ) ready to step into the private and corporate market with intention

You want premium bookings and you’re prepared to implement, refine and take ownership of your results

You’re done undercharging, over-delivering and hoping someone will “just see your value”

You’re ready to treat your music like a business and operate at CEO level

You want structure, accountability and a repeatable booking system you can use season after season

You’re open to refining your act, positioning and messaging so it actually sells

🚫 This isn't for you if....

You’re not willing to follow up, track leads or build consistent habits

You want someone to “do it for you” without learning the strategy behind it

You’re looking for a quick template or shortcut without changing your pricing, positioning or behaviour

You’re unwilling to adapt your act for market demand while protecting your artistry

You’re happy staying where you are and simply “seeing what happens”

Just Imagine, 12 Months From Now...

💰 You’ve doubled — or even quadrupled — your annual music income… while working fewer chaotic, last-minute gigs

📉 You’ve halved the hustle period. No more scrambling week to week. You’re booking 3–6 months in advance with deposits secured

📩 Your inbox contains qualified enquiries, referrals and repeat clients — not silence or ghosting

🎤 Your act is refined and positioned properly. Whether that’s a revival show, a luxury acoustic set, a tribute concept or a jazz band — it’s clear, compelling and easy to sell

💳 You’ve moved from £250 pub fees to £800, £1,200 or £2,000+ event bookings — because your offer, messaging and confidence match

🗓 You’re not chasing gigs anymore. You’re running structured outreach blocks, tracking leads, and following a proven sales rhythm

🔥 Other artists are asking how you did it

🧠 You think like a CEO. You price like a professional. You negotiate calmly. You know your numbers

🌿 And most importantly — you feel steady. In control. Energised instead of burnt out.

Because you didn’t just “get lucky.” You built a repeatable system.

Do I need a website? And what if i'm not ready?

You don’t need a website to join FBMM.

We focus on positioning, clarity, and sales structure first. Many members secure premium bookings without relying on a website or an agent.

If you’re already gigging and serious about earning more from your music, you’re ready. You do not need perfect promo. You need direction.

FBMM meets you where you are and elevates you from there.

How quickly will I see results? And is this just marketing advice?

Results depend on your starting point and your level of implementation.

Some members secure bookings within weeks. Others refine their positioning first and build steady momentum over months. This is not a quick fix. It’s a sustainable system.

And no — this is not just marketing advice.

FBMM blends psychological transformation, business and marketing strategy, and live music industry expertise. You are not simply learning tactics. You are changing how you lead your career.

What if I’ve tried other courses before? And what if I can’t afford it?

FBMM is not passive learning.

This is live mentorship, accountability, and implementation support. You’re not left alone with videos. This is about execution.

If one additional booking per month would cover your membership, the question becomes whether you’re ready to build the system that makes that consistent.

FBMM is an investment in structure, not an expense in hope.

Do I need to be full-time in music?

No.

Many members build their premium booking system alongside other work. The goal is consistency and growth, not overnight risk. We do keep office hours with our calls however - so this suits musicians who are decicated to create a full-time event and live music business.

Is this only for private and corporate events? What about gigs and festivals?

The Fully Booked Musician Mastermind is designed around creating a premium, rinse-and-repeat event act that generates consistent, high-fee bookings.

That said, members regularly use the system to secure additional work including residencies, hotels, gastro pubs, care homes, tours and festivals. The database also includes an A–Z of UK festivals.

The reason I focus on private and corporate events is simple: they offer a clear, scalable income pathway with fewer gatekeepers and more control.

The goal is to build a strong “money tap” that funds your artistry — not replace it.

I have a niche, alternative, spiritual or non-mainstream brand. Will this work for me?

Yes — if you are open to positioning.

I’ve seen many “niche” identities thrive in the private events space when positioned strategically. 60s and 70s revival, alternative aesthetics, tribute-inspired concepts, acoustic reinterpretations — when done well and presented professionally, they can create strong market demand.

What matters most is clarity, demand and presentation.

If you are only interested in building an original act without adapting for market opportunities, this programme may not be the right fit.

If you want to protect your artistry and build sustainable income alongside it, this is exactly where I can help.

How often are the live coaching calls?

There are two live group coaching calls per month.

They run on the second and last Tuesday of each month and last between 60–90 minutes.

These are transformational sessions focused on whatever members are working on — marketing feedback, strategy, EPK development, sales structure, pricing, mindset, positioning and more.

Sessions are recorded and stored in the portal.

What are the weekly accountability sessions?

We run two weekly “Bandmin” sessions:

Monday 1pm — Co-Working Bandmin
Members declare what they’re working on and use the session to take focused action.

Thursday 1pm — Guided Power Hour
A structured sales session using my proven outreach method to drive bookings and enquiries.

These sessions are not coaching calls and are not recorded. They run subject to a minimum number of RSVPs to protect group energy and focus.

Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

Are any of the calls 1-1?

Yes.

This is a hybrid programme.

You receive group coaching as the core container, alongside a series of 1-1 sessions throughout the year including:

• A 90-minute Marketing Deep Dive
• Follow-up laser coaching calls

This structure keeps the programme cost-effective while ensuring you receive personalised strategic input.

What is the FBMM Tracker?

The Fully Booked Musician Mastermind Tracker is a structured planning and revenue tool designed to help you:

• Map your yearly income targets
• Track bookings and outreach
• Monitor mindset and momentum
• Implement what you learn

Some members love using it. Others prefer pen and paper. The key is consistency.
